Dear David De Gea,

As I sit down to write this farewell letter, my heart is heavy with mixed emotions. It’s hard to believe that the time has come for you to leave Manchester United. For the past decade, you have been an integral part of our beloved club, and your departure marks the end of an era.

I still remember the excitement and anticipation when you joined Manchester United back in 2011. As I was too small and was following Manchester United due to our elder brothers.  You were a young, talented goalkeeper, full of promise and potential. Little did we know that you would go on to become one of the greatest goalkeepers in the history of the club.

Throughout your time at Old Trafford, you have given us countless memorable moments. Your lightning-fast reflexes, acrobatic saves, and incredible shot-stopping abilities have left us in awe time and time again. You have been a pillar of strength in our defense, a last line of defense that we could always rely on.

But it wasn’t just your skills on the pitch that endeared you to us. Your dedication, professionalism, and loyalty have been truly admirable. Through the highs and lows, the triumphs and disappointments, you always remained committed to the club. Your passion for the game and your unwavering determination to win have been an inspiration to us all.

You have achieved so much during your tenure at Manchester United. Premier League titles, FA Cup victories, and your heroics in the UEFA Europa League are etched in our memories forever. Your impact on the club cannot be measured solely by trophies, but also by the countless lives you have touched and the young goalkeepers you have inspired.

As you embark on a new chapter in your career, I want to express my deepest gratitude for everything you have done for Manchester United. You have been a true ambassador for the club, both on and off the pitch. Your contributions will never be forgotten, and your legacy will forever be a part of Manchester United’s rich history.
